CENSUR by Prodesign, winner of the SILMO d'Or for Sunglasses "Eyewear designer" category

Design Eyewear Group is proud to announce that CENSUR, a standout creation under the Prodesign brand, has won the esteemed SILMO d'Or 2024 in the "Sunglasses - Eyewear Designer" category. This recognition highlights the groundbreaking creativity and bold design philosophy behind the DANCE design lab's first collection.

CENSUR is a result of a unique collaboration between Danish and French designers at Design Eyewear Group. The collection was conceived as part of an innovative in-house design initiative called DANCE (Danmark x France), where creativity flourishes without boundaries, culminating in visionary eyewear that redefines traditional perspectives.

CENSUR embodies a bold fusion of creativity, design, and artistry, pushing the boundaries of conventional eyewear while embracing a futuristic, industrial aesthetic. The concept originated from an internal design session where rules were set aside, allowing creativity to push the limits of traditional eyewear design.

CENSUR is a nod to the distinctive beam across its lenses, reminiscent of a censorship bar. This bold statement piece challenges perceptions and invites wearers to experience the world from a different perspective. The innovative beam design adds a layer of mystery and sophistication, making CENSUR a true conversation starter

The CENSUR sunglasses will be available to eyewear enthusiasts from October 2024. Available in both round and square shapes, CENSUR comes in a variety of striking colour combinations. Each variation carries the unmistakable touch of avant-garde design, inviting wearers to see the world through a different lens.
