FACE A FACE - OBJECTS OF MAGIC
For this new collection, the FACE A FACE designers continue their exploration around the Italian Memphis art movement – with a kinetic prism!
Each of the models seem to move to better reveal the richness of their shape. From the kaleidoscopic effect of the KALËDO dizziness, through the visible and poetically articulated frame to the CLINT to the “moving” hinge of the SWING movements... The simulation of displacement gives these concepts a magical character.
The nod to the Memphis movement is propagated and expressed by a colour-blocking palette: ultra-graphic materials contrasting with solid colours – bringing to life playful clashes, conceived as a visual interplay and dialogue. Great technical acumen is also revealed in the bonding and machining, designed to bring poetry to life.
As Ettore Sottsass, founder of the Memphis movement, said: “Design begins where rational processes end and those of magic start.”
So, dare to be irrational, to think the unthinkable and to do the unprecedented. Be where no one is waiting for you. Cultivate magic with FACE À FACE.
KALËDO
Dive into a kaleidoscopic journey with KALËDO!

CLINT
Distinguish with subtlety and elegance with CLINT!
Iconic and new combine to form the masculine lines of the CLINT. Inspired by neo-retro art, this spectacle design reinterprets vintage in a dashing style. SWING
Step aside. Reinvent everyday life with the SWING models.
Poetic and playful, the SWING models are an invitation to discover new things... or life in the spirit of the Memphis movement! A beating heart of this optical design, the hinge, reimagined as a cylinder, appears to jut out from the temple. A joyful and original aesthetic with a temple tip reminiscent of a musical note, which echoes vibrancy. An invitation to dance!

SOTSAS
A tribute in sunglasses to the work of designer Ettore Sottsas
A mischievous and playful tribute to the work of Ettore Sottsass, these sunglasses are as cheeky as they are expressive! Exploring the middle ground between object and sculpture, they affirm their off-beat and creative spirit through the use of a cylinder that can be interpreted either as an endpiece or a temple, only to showcase itself on the frame front as a graphic accentuating element. Mischievous and a bit crazy, the SOTSAS models are just as free as you are!
- Handmade in France
- Two-tone acetate
- Two shapes: a panto and a rectangle
- Sparkling and explosive
- Inspired by the work of designer Ettore Sottsass
- Cylindrical temples turn into sculptural objects
