PRODESIGN 50 YEARS ANNIVERSARY - CELEBRATE THE PAST. EMBRACE THE FUTURE
Prodesign Denmark has closed a year and half of celebration with a full day event on August 25th, that took place in Aarhus, the city where the brand was born 50 years ago.
Customers and employees from all over Europe, had the opportunity to visit Design Eyewear Group’s logistic center and headquarters during the day, then join together for the evening party which took place at Varna Palace. This event was a perfect cocktail of celebrating the past and the future to come ; speeches, music, dinner and fireworks!
Prodesign is a company that has made a significant impact on the eyewear industry. Founded in 1973, the Danish brand has become synonymous with elegant and functional eyewear designs that embody the Scandinavian design philosophy of simplicity, functionality, and quality.

CEO, Lars Flyvholm said on that occasion "From our humble beginnings in 1973 we have grown from a one brand company into a house of design brands – melting the best of Danish and French culture together. During the years we added the Danish brand Kilsgaard and most recently, we took the first step outside Denmark and France, as we acquired William Morris London. So today we can say that we are truly an international house. Build on a foundation of Danish routes and values, with French sophistication and British charm."
